Over mij

Pathologie is een super mooi vak omdat het zo breed is. Als patholoog werk je voor alle specialismen in het ziekenhuis en zien we veel verschillende organen en tal van aandoeningen. Door onder de microscoop naar het weefsel te kijken, los je laag voor laag de puzzel op: de juiste diagnose voor iedere patiënt. Soms geven we aan de behandelend artsen ook adviezen betreft de behandeling. Het beeld onder de microscoop is een wereld op zich. Ook al zie ik de patiënten niet zelf in de spreekkamer, ik weet dat mijn werk voor iedere patiënt iets heel belangrijks betekent.
