In verband met het 15-jarig bestaan van het Gamma Knife Centrum in ETZ Elisabeth in Tilburg wordt een symposium gehouden. Onder andere de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van Gamma Knife (radiochirurgie) en bestraling (radiotherapie) worden op 9 juni besproken.
Er zijn diverse internationale sprekers, radiotherapeut-oncologen uit het Antoni van Leeuwenhoek en uiteraard onze specialisten van het Gamma Knife Centrum van het ETZ. Ook schrijver Bart Chabot is te gast in Tilburg.

On behalf of the Gamma Knife Center Tilburg, we have the honour to invite you to the Symposium that
we organize to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gamma Knife Center Tilburg. During the last 15
years we have seen an evolution in indications to be treated once or repeatedly with Gamma Knife
Radiosurgery as well as a technical evolution with the introduction of the Gamma Knife Icon.
The Gamma Knife Icon allows frameless fractionated Gamma Knife Radiosurgery widening the scope of potential indications but also introducing new questions. Hence, the title “More than once……“ From repeated to fractionated Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. Together with an outstanding international faculty we will address clinical and technical issues related to repeated and fractionated Gamma Knife Radiosurgery.
